Steven W. Russo

russo_1Mr. Russo concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing and refinancing, architect’s and construction contracts and office, medical and retail leasing for both landlord and tenant clients. He has been an attorney for over 30 years in Fairfield County, first with the Greenwich law firm of Badger, Fisher & Cohen, then as a principal at Trager and Trager, P.C. in Fairfield, Connecticut.  Mr. Russo has represented individuals, developers, institutions and other entities in acquisitions, development, financing, permitting and sales of real property, as well as providing counsel in the negotiation and drafting of office, medical, retail and industrial leases throughout Connecticut. He also has experience in the financing of fine art and other asset based lending.

He received his B.A. in finance, magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut in 1978 and his law degree with honors from George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1981.

Mr. Russo is a member of the Real Estate and Commercial Law Sections of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Real Estate and Construction Law Sections of the American Bar Association.
